FOBICA provides expert advice and coordination support. Licences, registrations and certifications, including those under FSSAI, BIS and Legal Metrology, are granted by the relevant authorities at their discretion. FOBICA does not issue them and does not guarantee that any approval will be granted, or when.

References on this website to "FSSAI-related expert advice", "BIS-related expert advice" and "support with Legal Metrology requirements" describe the advice we give. They do not mean that FOBICA is approved, certified or appointed by these authorities.

4. Rules change

Standards, regulations and procedures change from time to time. Requirements described on this website were written in good faith but may not be current when you read them. Always check the requirements that apply to your project with the relevant authority, or ask us to review them for you.

5. Costs, returns and timelines

Where the website talks about investment, costs, payback or timelines, it does so in general terms. Actual figures depend on the product, capacity, location, market, design and execution of each project, and are assessed project by project. An ROI assessment is an analysis, not a promise of returns.

The drawings on this website are illustrations of typical equipment, layouts and processes. They are not engineering drawings and do not show any specific client project.

7. Third-party vendors

When FOBICA evaluates or coordinates machinery suppliers, contractors, laboratories or other vendors, each vendor remains responsible for its own products, services, performance and warranties.
