1. Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to read about FOBICA and contact us, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, magnification or a slow mobile connection.

This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and new pages follow the same rules.

2. What you can do on this website

• Move through every page, menu, tab and form with a keyboard alone. A "Skip to content" link appears on the first press of the Tab key.
• See where you are: every link, button and field shows a clear focus outline.
• Zoom text up to 200% without content being cut off, and use the site on screens as narrow as 320 pixels.
• Switch between a light and a dark theme from the header.
• Turn motion off: if your device is set to reduce motion, animations and page transitions are switched off and every page appears complete straight away.
• Fill in forms with visible labels, required fields marked in words, and error messages that say what to fix and are announced to screen readers.
• Read content that is still there without JavaScript. Animations only add polish; nothing waits for them.

3. Colour, text and images

Text and interface colours are chosen to meet AA contrast ratios in both themes. Information is never shown by colour alone.

The line drawings on this website illustrate equipment and processes. They are decorative, so screen readers skip them, and everything they show is also written in the text around them.

4. Known limitations

Some links open services we do not control, such as WhatsApp, maps and social media platforms. Their accessibility depends on those providers.

If you find a page, document or feature that does not work for you, please tell us. We will fix it, or give you the information in another way.

The website is built with semantic HTML, CSS and a small amount of JavaScript, so that it works with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile, and with the screen readers built into Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
